In this art space you find visual artists at work. The studio is home to a number of resident artists, where they produce, display and sell their artworks. Visitors are urged to browse thought the studio and watch the artists in action. This is a double story building that houses various art studios and resident artist of the centre.
Drumming Africa is Durban's only outlet of traditional African musical instruments and drums. From Burundian, Ghanian and South African, here you will find hand made instruments which resonate to the heartbeat of Africa. Drumming Africa has the widest range of quality djembe drums from West Africa, as well as bells, shakers and other percussion instruments
This is Durban’s first and largest user-friendly drumming circle where the whole family can chillout in style. The
poetry circle has been running for 12 years, beginning from the second year of BAT’s inception .
It is a place for massive tourist and artistic interaction where two hour sessions leave you scintillating with vibrant energy and willingness drum endlessly. At the mouth of the Indian Ocean the basic drumming and instruction involves various percussion instruments and joyous soul that may find themselves catapulted into dance other stress-releaving.
The sessions encourage spontaeonity and creative ways of team-building and learning how to drum.
